Dear Kate, I loved reading your books, and I wait with heady anticipation for your fourth, later this year. I'm rather excited, as I started studying writing at uni this year, at the ripe old age of 42! I've always loved reading, and held a dream of being a writer. For the very first time in my life, while typing a creative writing assignment (ok, I'm first year, and it's only 2000 words), I thought it may be possible. I can understand how and why writers lock themselves away - it becomes all-consuming! Anyway, I just wanted to share this with someone. Thanks for your beautiful books.

One is never too old to learn! I love writing. At present I am on a Creative Writing Course at Adult Education! It is amazing what one can write. and by studying writing. It helps my own writing!.
