I'm a grade nine student in Canada, and this year every student must choose a novel to do an independant study on. I chose The Forgotten Garden, which is one of my all-time favourtite books. A component of the project involves writing an author biography. Online, I've found many facts, but I've yet to find a birthday anywhere! I was wondering - is this private information that you do not wish to disclose? If you don't mind answering - what is your birth date? A reply would be greatly appreciated. The Forgotten Garden is my favourite book, for all sorts of reasons. It takes me away to a different world, it gives me adventure that I've always dreamed about. I love especially being thrust into Eliza's and Rose's story, seeing both of their thoughts and learning how love and jealousy can drive even the strongest friends apart. I also love writing; I aspire to someday be an author. Do you have any tips you could give me?
